With a serious epidemiological threat hanging over Kyiv and the whole country, utilities are facing an important question: how to disinfect public places?

After all, even the use of disinfectant sprays does not have the maximum effect if the surfaces are not cleaned beforehand.

In the current environment, disinfection of public places is one of the most important tasks to stop the spread of coronavirus infection. That is why the Kercher team joined the city rescuers of the Kyiv City State Administration and representatives of the Red Cross in Taras Shevchenko Park in this highly responsible mission to disinfect the city.

The main difficulty in disinfecting outdoor areas is that even disinfection with special solutions does not give a 100% result: the virus retains its properties under a layer of mud.

Therefore, the first step was to wash everything thoroughly, but having high-pressure water heaters in our arsenal, we decided to be more creative. Since coronaviruses die relatively quickly when heated, we disinfected the surfaces with steam and hot water at a temperature of about 100 degrees, simultaneously removing dirt and destroying microorganisms that are unstable to such a temperature
